Imogene Wright, 79, of Cave Springs, Ark., died Nov. 7, 2008, at her home. She was born Feb. 21, 1929, in Viola, Ark., the daughter of the late Ezekiel (Zeke) and Lucy Rand Marchant.
She was a homemaker, a member of the First Baptist Church in Cave Springs, a member of the church quilting ministry and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Cave Springs.
She is survived by: her son, Darrell Wright and wife Becky of Cave Springs, Ark.; her daughter, Janice Kay Fields and husband J.D. of Lexington, Tenn.; two brothers, Willard Marchant and wife, Lena of Salem, Ore., and Lee Marchant and wife, Jolane of Cave Springs; three sisters, Mildred Foster of Salem, Ark., Elda Foster and husband Ott of Viola, Ark., and Juanita Robbins of Stover, Mo.; her sister-in-law, Jean Marchant of Cave Springs; two grandchildren, Tony Wright of Bentonville and Alisha McGill and husband Neal of Bella Vista; a great-grandson; several nieces; nephews; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Herbert Paul Wright on May 5, 1990; a son, David Wright in 1964; her parents, Zeke and Lucy Rand Mar-chant; three sisters, Reable Haughn, Ruby Mae Foster and Edna McCandlis; and two brothers, Heaber Marchant and Jesse Marchant.
Funeral services were held Nov. 11 at First Baptist Church in Cave Springs with Pastor Marvin Loyd and Pastor Gary Brewer officiating. Burial followed in Cave Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Tony Wright, Robby Brown, Rusty Brown, Randy Brown, Kris Marchant and Steve Marchant.
Honorary pallbearers were her nephews and great- nephews.
