Dona Anna Faye Smith, 95, of Hardy, Ark., died Nov. 13, 2008, at her residence. She was born March 10, 1913, in San Saba, Texas, the daughter of the late Benjamin Edmund Williams and Mary Homer (Fuller) Williams.
She moved with her family to Hardy, Ark., in 1929. She was of the Church of Christ faith.
Mrs. Smith worked as a cook for the Sitting Bull Restaurant in Cherokee Village for many years.
She is survived by: three daughters, Mary B. Egerton and husband, Richard, of Evansville, Ind., Georgia M. Fraley of Ozark, Mo., and Reba R. Miller of Hardy; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband, Errett T. Miller; her second husband, Garland Smith; one daughter, Lula Anna Lute; five brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services were held Nov. 15 at the Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland, Ark. Burial followed in the Walker Cemetery near Hardy. Arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Hardy.
