On Nov. 16 at 7 a.m. Mammoth Spring Chief of Police Michael Davis was notified of a self-inflicted burn victim at a residence in the city. The man had poured gasoline on himself and set himself on fire.
Davis said the man was severly burned and smelled like gasoline. The police chief said the burned man has a history of emotional issues.
He was taken to a Springfield hospital where he is being treated for the burns.
