Arthur Bettis Jr.

Arthur Bettis Jr., 59, of Alton, Mo., was born April 26, 1949, in Oregon County, Mo., and died Nov. 15, 2008.

He is survived by: one son, Brian Bettis; two grandchildren, Troy Cole Bettis and Thomas Wade Bettis, all of West Plains, Mo.; four brothers, Freddie, Phil, Ed and Robert Bettis; five sisters, Tresa Bettis, May Owings, Jane Bettis, Martha Buckner and Ann Brawley; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Helen Bettis.

Services were held Nov. 18 in the Clary Chapel with Bro. J.R. Andrews officiating. Burial will be in the Bailey Cemetery under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home, Alton.
