Davis tossed in a game-high 33 points to help her Lady Royals to a 70-58 victory over the Alton Lady Comets in the consolation bracket finals of the Lady Dawg Classic.
The fifth-seeded Lady Comets jumped out to a quick 6-2 lead, behind one hoop from Becca See and two more from Alex Hower, early in the game. See and Hower fired in 16 points apiece to lead Alton.
Twin Rivers, the tourney's sixth-seed, rattled off eight straight points to move in front 11-8 late in the first.
But the Lady Comets had the last word in the first, with Lacey Hodge (14 points) hitting a free throw, followed by a pair from Kristina Russback (four points) and layup from See that knotted things at 13-all after one.
The Lady Comets grabbed what turned out to be their last lead of the game, 18-17, midway into the second period on a free throw from Casey Miller (four points).
That's when Davis got her wheels rolling. She unloaded for 13 points in the last 4:20 of the second period to push Twin Rivers in front 34-27 at intermission.
The Lady Royals maintained their lead throughout the third period and took a 51-45 cushion into the final frame.
Alton made things interesting with a spirited charge in the fourth. Down 56-47, the Lady Comets peeled off five consecutive points to edge within four, 56-52.
But that's when Davis stepped up again.
She sank Twin Rivers' next seven points to extend the Lady Royals' advantage to 63-52.
Alton kept pushing, but Davis and the Lady Royals refused to be swayed and finished with a 70-58 victory over the Lady Comets.
Jessica Bailey finished with four points for Alton, while Brittni Yardley had two.
