Marjorie Oliver Heard

Marjorie Oliver Heard, 74, of Cherokee Village, Ark., died, Dec. 11, 2008, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Ark. Marjorie was born April 4, 1934, in Elton, La., to the late Melina and Wayne Oliver.

She worked as a manager of a cancer clinic in Lafayette, La., and as a church secretary and a legal secretary and was a house wife from 1975 on.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Willis Funeral Service in Batesville, Ark.

A memorial service was held at Cherokee Village First Baptist Dec. 18. Officiating was Bro. Larry Smith of First Baptist Church, Charley McKendrie of Lighthouse Baptist and Jimmie Polstou of The Community Church.
