A one vehicle accident on Highway 62 near Mammoth Spring Dec. 19 resulted in the arrest and multiple pending charges of a Cherokee Village man.
According to the Arkansas State Police report, Brian A. Frame, 21, of Cherokee Village was driving a 2001 GMC truck southbound on Highway 63 when he ran off of the road striking a rock embankment. The vehicle continued south through a ditch hitting a culvert resulting in the passenger, James R. Woods, 26, of Hardy to be ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle caught fire after coming to a rest.
According to the report both Frame and Woods escaped with only minor injuries. Frame and woods were arrested and transported to the Fulton County Sheriff's Department pending formal charges. Charges included driving while intoxicated, careless driving, no seatbelt and two felony possession of a controlled substance charges.
