Izard County Sheriff's Report

The sheriff's department reported that Joseph Allen Wolford, 32, was taken into protective custody Dec. 15 after an incident in Calico Rock. He was later transported to the Wilbur D. Mills Center in Searcy for a court ordered rehabilitation commitment.

In an unrelated incident, Bradley Travis Edmonston, 18, of Calico Rock was arrested Dec. 16 on the charge of disorderly conduct. Edmonston was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the following day after posting bond in the amount of $205.

Brent Tyrel Sanders, 19, of Pineville was arrested Dec. 19 on an Izard County District Court warrant for failure to appear. Sanders appeared in court that day and was released.

Nicholas Wayne Rush, 23, of Melbourne was arrested Dec. 19 around midnight and charged with driving left of center and contributing to the delinquency of a minor-two counts, both related to alcohol.

In conjunction with the Rush arrest two minors were arrested on alcohol related charges. Brandon Joe Gillespie, 19, was charged Dec. 19 with possession of intoxicating liquor by a minor and with drinking in public. Gillespie posted bond early the next morning in the amount of $810 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility. Kaylee Michelle Cooper, 18, of Horseshoe Bend was arrested on the charge of possession of intoxicating liquor by a minor. Cooper also posted bond the following morning in the amount of $605 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

In late afternoon on Dec. 9, Deputy Carl Russell, after being notified of a possible drunk driver, observed a vehicle being driven with two flat tires in the downtown area of Calico Rock. Lisa Greenwood, 47, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated-second offense, driving on a suspended drive's license, refusal to submit to chemical test and obstructing governmental operations. Greenwood remains in the Izard County Detention Facility serving a 30-day suspended sentence that was revoked from an earlier driving while intoxicated charge.

Justin Allen Janson, 23, of Calico Rock was arrested Dec. 14 on charges of possession of a controlled substance, public intoxication-drugs and disorderly conduct. Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that deputies located a plastic bag containing a green leafy substance identified as marijuana. During the booking process at the Izard County Detention Facility Janson became extremely belligerent and combative and was charged with obstructing governmental operations. Janson tested positive for meth and marijuana.

Christopher Allen Sanchez, 36, of Mountain Home was arrested at a house in Trotter Acres near Calico Rock on Baxter County felony drug warrants. Sanchez was transported to the Izard County Detention Facility where he was later released to Baxter County authorities and transported to Mountain Home.

David Russell Elliot, 21, of Pineville was arrested Dec. 13 on charges of public intoxication, reckless driving and driving left of center. Elliott posted bond the following day in the amount of $2,545 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Dustin Clyde Bunch, 24, of Pomona, Mo., was arrested Dec. 11 for possession of a controlled substance. Bunch posted bond the following day in the amount of $1,230 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility. Another Pomona man, Chad Alan Stevenson, 34, was arrested at that time on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possessing an instrument of crime. Stevenson posted bond in the amount of $2,335 and was released.

Mason Michael Seay, 21 was arrested during the late hours of Dec. 11, near the Bandmill community on the charge of driving while intoxicated-drugs. Seay was released the following day from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting a $1,055 bond.

Bruce Allen Ball, 41, of Newport was arrested Dec. 13 on charges of driving while intoxicated, careless driving and a seat belt violation. Ball posted bond later that day in the amount of $1,240 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

A Franklin man, Matthew Zachariah Sanders, 19, was arrested early Sunday morning on the charge of public intoxication. Sanders remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Randy Lee Morrison Jr., 21, of Newark was arrested early Dec. 13 on the charge of public intoxication. Morrison later posted bond in the amount of $205 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

A Tuckerman man, Colby S. Hensley, 22. was arrested Dec. 13 on the charge of public intoxication. Later, after posting a $205 bond, Hensley was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Joseph Cory Slisher, 18, of Cushman was arrested near Mount Pleasant on a charge of disorderly conduct. Slisher posted bond the same day in the amount $205 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Allen Wayne Kipfer, 21, of Melbourne was arrested Dec. 8 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Kipfer was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the following day after posting bond in the amount of $325.

Tabitha Ann Francis, 26 of Batesville was arrested Dec. 8 on a failure to pay fines warrant. Francis posted bond the following day in the amount of $615 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Ronnie Hayden Womack, 46, of Melbourne was arrested Dec. 13 on a failure to appear warrant. Womack posted bond the same day in the amount of $1,285 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Inocencio Delossantos, 30, of Batesville was arrested Dec. 12 on a failure to appear warrant. Delossantos posted bond the same day in the amount of $1,460 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Jacob Raymon Frey, 19, of Brockwell was placed in protective custody Dec. 13 and remains at the Izard County Detention Facility.
