Jason Farris, 27, of Paris, Texas, formerly of Cave City, Ark., died Dec. 19, 2008, at a Paris, Texas, hospital. He was born April 16, 1981, at Batesville, Ark., the son of Marty and Ruby Farris.
He was a member of the Haven of Rest Ministries in Paris, Texas.
Survivors include: his mother, Ruby Farris; a sister, Misty Schmidt and husband, Jacob all of Sherwood, Ark.; his paternal grandmother, Oleta Landers of Cave City; his paternal great-grandmother, Grace Mooney of Batesville, Ark.; three nephews, Hunter Farris, Jadon Farris and Bently Schmidt; and many other cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his father; his paternal grandfather, Coy Farris; and his maternal grandparents, Loyd and Mary Lou Wren.
Funeral services were held Dec. 23 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. John Russell and Bro. both Allen Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Cave City Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Wayne Clements, Josh Hampton, Sonny Whitt, Justin Monk, Chase Dorse, Craig Dorse and Mark Hatley.
