Calvin Dale McLeod, 63, of Cave City, Ark., died Jan. 9, 2008, at his home. He was born July 26, 1945, at Cave City, Ark., the son of Homer Aldie and Eunar Lucille (Hill) McLeod.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired truck driver.
Survivors include: his wife, Lety McLeod of the home; three daughters, Charlene McLeod of the home; Tammi Ivy and husband John of Grubbs and Patty Riley and husband Rory of Las Vegas, Nev.; three step-daughters, Vicki Moore of Des Moines, Iowa, Michele Alvarez of Norwalk, Calif., and Kelli Campbell of Newport; three brothers, Ray McLeod and Paul McLeod both of Cave City and Bill McLeod of Batesville; one sister, June Duvall of Cave City; three grandchildren, Brenna Ivy of Grubbs, Mickey Riley of Las Vegas, Nev., and Amanda Riley of Portland, Ore.; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one daughter, Amy McLeod; three brothers, James McLeod, Tom McLeod and Gerald McLeod; and two sisters, Walsie Mahan and Alice McLeod.
Funeral services were held Jan. 12 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Arrangements were made under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Landers, Merle Bechtol, Bill Hamilton, Tommy St. John and John Ivy.
