The Lady Bears started things off with a 43-38 victory over Izard County.
The Lady Cougars took a 19-17 led to the half, but Mammoth Spring came out with guns blazing in the third to outscore Izard County 18-6, giving the visitors a 35-25 lead after three periods of play.
Sierra Smoot paced the Lady Bears with 18 points, including four treys, while Bianca Paige tossed in 13, including three triples. She also recorded six steals and six assists.
Jessy Jo Vest and Shelby Frey logged six points each.
Rachel Harmon drilled six 3-balls and scored a game-high 20 points for the Lady Cougars, while Trisha Arnold added eight points for Izard County.
Sarah Taylor finished with six points, with Emily Crider and Kaylee Cooper ending the contest with two points apiece.
In boys' action, the Bears were 45-39 winners over the Cougars.
