Raymond Hutchison

Raymond "Peck" Hutchison, 78, of Cave City, Ark., died Jan. 18, 2009, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. He was born April 26, 1930, at Cave City, Ark., the son of Samuel Lewis and Jewell Mabel Hutchison.

He was a farmer and of the Assembly of God faith.

He is survived by: two sisters Oretha Perkey of Cave City, and Ruth Shirley of Ironton, Mo.; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; one brother, Fred Hutchison; two sisters, Della Perkey and Flo Goldman; and two nephews.

Funeral services were held Jan. 20 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Allen Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Palestine Cemetery located west of Cave City, with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Pallbearers were Steve Stauffer, Roy Felts, Howard Abernathy, Erbie Perkey, Jeff Hobbs, Buddy Justice and Terry Justice.

Honorary pallbearers were the Cave City Nursing Home staff and Dr. Greg Neaville.
