Marian Green, 78, of Smithville, Ark., died Jan. 14, 2009, at her home. She was born Jan. 9, 1931, at Cedar Springs, Mich., the daughter of the late Fredrick Neff and Mamie Isabell (Holiday) Fisk.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Strawberry Baptist Church.
She is survived by: her husband, Donald Green of the home; one son, Ivan Kent Ringler of Albermarle, N.C.; three daughters, Ranae Lashell Fletcher of Landis, N.C., Arretha Louise Page of China Grove, N.C., and Thelma Polston of Cave City; one brother, Ronald Neff Fisk of Cedar Springs, Mich.; one sister, Genieve Giar of Cedar Springs, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and one sister, Geraldine Hinkley.
Funeral services were held Jan. 17 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City. Burial followed in the Shamrock Cemetery located near Charlotte with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Michael Liles, Michael Peterson, Kevin Liles, Ken Polston, Kerry Fletcher and Phillip Horton.
