Bell Polston, died Jan. 23, 2009, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville, Ark., at the age of 83. She was currently residing in Cherokee Village, Ark. She was born Nov. 1, 1925, to William Jennings Herring and Mae (Gardner) Herring at Saffell, Ark.
She attended Highland Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by: one sister, Wanda Lee Sexton of Saffell, Ark.; one brother, George Herring of Strawberry, Ark.; three sons, Laveral Polston of Highland, Ark.; Jimmie Polston and wife Wilma of Highland, Ark.; Larry Polston and wife Peggy of Paw Paw, Mich.; one daughter, Velda Wiles and husband Donward of Highland; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Harry L. Polston; one son, Dennis Dean Polston; and a brother, William Jennings Herring, Jr.
Funeral services were held Jan. 26 at Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Ark. Arrangements were under the direction of Tri-County Funeral Home at Highland, Ark.
Pallbearers were Marty Polston, Mike Robinson, Shawn Polston, Zach Polson, Ashley Booth, Billy Gann.
Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Polston, Alfred Polston, Curtis Polston, Melvin Cook, Donward Wiles.
