Agnes Juanita Hunt, 87, of Glencoe, Ark., daughter of the late Sherman and Cecil (Brown) Gragg, was born on Oct. 10, 1921, at Mulberry, Ark. She died Jan. 30, 2009, at Glencoe.
Juanita was united in marriage to Walter Nathen Hunt on Oct. 18, 1941, at Carthage, Mo.
She spent her working years in housekeeping for the Fulton County Hospital. Juanita was a member of the Hilltop Calvary Church at Agnos, Ark.
She is survived by: her husband, Walter Hunt of Glencoe; two daughters, Pat Kirkland and husband Kenneth of Salem, Ark., and Pam Rider and husband Stan of Agnos, Ark.; two brothers, Doyle Gragg and wife Margie of Glendale, Ariz., and George Gragg of Texas; three sisters, Bonnie Long and husband Fred of Covina, Calif., Erma Dennison of Hesperia, Calif., and Faye Frost of San Diego, Calif.; five grandchildren, Shelly, Steven, Michael, Jeanine and Justine; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; one son, Bill Hunt; four brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services were held Feb. 3 at the Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, with Bro. Phil Huggins officiating. Interment followed in the Humphries Cemetery at Glencoe with arrangements under the direction of the Barker Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Ken Kirkland, Stan Rider, Steven Rider, Michael Rider, Donny Dawson and Mark Ballard.
Memorials preferred to the Hilltop Calvary Church at Agnos, Ark.
