Ralph Taylor was born the son of Walter Taylor and Ora Kester Taylor on Jan. 20, 1932, in Wirth, Ark., and died Jan. 26, 2009, at his home near Koshkonong, Mo., at the age of 77.
He was united in marriage Jan. 30, 1971, in Hardy, Ark., to Shirley Ward.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator and was an avid fisherman.
He was a Christian.
He is survived by: his wife, Shirley of the home near Koshkonong, Mo.; 10 children, Marshall Taylor of West Plains, Mo., Rosemary, Kathy and Debbie Taylor all of Tulsa, Okla.; Norma Jean Taylor of Cave City, Ark., Jerry Brashear and wife, Dolly of Koshkonong, Mo., Jeannie Morris and husband, Mike of Thayer, Mo., Patty Whisenant and husband, Brian of West Plains, Mo.; Debbie Roberts and husband, Dean of Myrtle, Mo., and Kevin Brashear and special friend, Cheryl of Koshkonong, Mo.; several grandchildren' several great-grandchildren; three brothers; one sister; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by: his parents and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial graveside service was held Jan. 31 at the Wayside Cemetery with Van Williams officiating. His body was cremated.
The arrangements were under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer, Mo.
