Edward E. Boettger, 68, of Cherokee Village, Ark., died Feb. 9, 2009. He was born in Chicago, Ill., July 22, 1940, the son of Elsie Keefe of Cherokee Village and the late William Boettger.
Ed served in the U.S. Army in the early 1960s as a radar repair specialist. Upon return to civilian life he became a scale repairman, working in Arkansas, first in the Little Rock area and after that in the eastern part of the state. After moving to Cherokee Village he became a member of Peace Lutheran Church and served as a trustee in recent years.
He is survived by; his mother, Elsie Keefe; a sister, Lois Boettger of Arlington Heights, Ill.; and many cousins and friends.
A memorial service was held Feb. 17 at the Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Brian Pummill officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Peace Lutheran Church.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland, Ark.
