Lola Jones Milligan, 86, of Sulphur Rock, Ark., formerly of Poughkeepsie, Ark., died Feb. 7, 2009, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born Sept. 30, 1922, at Nelsonville, Ark., the daughter of Henry and Lillie Willett Jones.
She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mildred Treadway of Sulphur Rock; one sister, Mary Boyd of Trumann; two grandchildren, Patrick Treadway and Kim and Vance both of Batesville; two great-grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, William Lee Milligan; one brother, Nathan Jones; and four sisters, Amanda Humbrecht, Lillie Dallas, Vallie Seat and Nora Boyd.
Funeral services were held Feb. 10 at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Dean Fugett officiating. Burial followed in the Townsend Cemetery located at Smithville, Ark., with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Paul Humbrecht, Jerry Humbrecht, Dean Boyd, Ben Jenkins, Matt Brand and T.J. Jenkins.
Honorary pallbearers were Patrick Treadway and Chris Vance.
