Jays too much for Lutie

Koshkonong kept the Lutie Indians winless on the season with a 74-35 Bluejays' victory Feb. 17.

The Jays were only on top 27-25 at the half, but Koshkonong went on a big 26-8 run in the third and finished things off by outscoring Lutie 21-2 in the fourth to cruise to the win.

Shane Davis paced Koshkonong with 15 points, while Robert Gatewood added 15 and Tim Voss 13. Wayne Cahoj tossed in nine points, Ethan Ulmanis added eight, with Evan Ball and Dillynn Cook ending the contest with four points each. Tyler Blaylock and Cody Branstetter logged two points apiece for the Bluejays.

The night before, Feb. 16, the Jays were handed a 75-22 loss at the hands of the Thayer Bobcats.

The Bluejays started their week off with a 59-51 win over the Bradleyville Eagles Feb. 14.

Cahoj paved the way with 18 points, with Davis and Kelby Waggoner adding 11 points each.

Ulmanis had eight, Voss seven and Ball four.
