Gary Owens, 28, of Salem, was arrested March 2 on warrants for residential burglary and battery in the third degree. Owens was released on a $50,000 bond March 2 and given a court date of March 16.

Robert Ellison, 42, of Mammoth Spring, was arrested March 2 for domestic abuse. Ellison was released on a $320 bond March 3.

John Carson, 52, of Salem, was arrested March 4 on warrants for residential burglary and theft of property. Carson was released on a $25,000 bond March 5 and given a court date of March 16.

Russ McMurtrey, 33, of Mammoth Spring, was arrested March 5. He is being held in the Fulton County Jail and being charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia, possession of anhydrous ammonia in an unapproved container and manufacturing a controlled substance near certain facilities. According to Fulton County Sheriff Walter Dillinger, the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force and the Arkansas State Police assisted the sheriff's department in executing a search warrant at McMurtrey's residence. A methamphetamine lab, finished methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia was found at the residence.

Sherry Brown, 43, of Wynne, was arrested March 6 for driving while intoxicated. Brown was transported to the Izard County Jail March 6.

Dennis Cortright, 41, of Green Forrest, was arrested March 6 on warrants out of Illinois for escape. Cortright is being held in the Fulton County Jail waiting extradition.

Matthew Guyer, 21, of Viola, was arrested March 7 on warrants for failure to appear for speeding and driving left of center. Guyer was released ona $652 bond March 7.

Daniel Rettew, 31, of Salem, was arrested for public intoxication, harassing communication and second degree battery March 7. Rettew is being held in the Fulton County Jail.
