Estel Dennis Busch was born Oct. 30, 1950, in Thayer, Mo., the son of the late Estel Busch and Ruby Agnew Busch. He died Feb. 3, 2009, in El Dorado, Kan., at the age of 58.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was employed for many years by General Motors, recently retiring.
He is survived by: one step-son, Joseph Richardson of Dallas, Texas; one step-daughter, Angela Meyer of Olathe, Kan.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jeffrey Busch of Mammoth Spring, Ark., Steven Busch of Mammoth Spring, Rodney Busch of Thayer and James Busch of Nashville, Tenn.; six sisters, Shelia Meredith of Mammoth Spring, Janis Collins of Mammoth Spring, Donnia Coffey of Mammoth Spring, Lorie Bishop of Mammoth Spring, Darla Lambert of Mammoth Spring and Joye Sanders of Thayer; several nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Estel and Ruby Busch.
Memorial services were held March 7 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Lee Moses officiating.
The local funeral arrangements were conducted under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
