After being on the run for about a week, Kenneth Wayne Smith Jr., 34 of the Belview North community in Melbourne was arrested March 2 in Paragould and transported to the Izard County Detention Facility. Smith is being held in jail on felony contempt of court charges and will remain incarcerated until his scheduled court date April 9. At the time Smith was booked into the detention facility, he again tested positive for multiple illegal drugs.

Antonio Sanchez IV, 19 of Calico Rock was arrested the afternoon of March 1 and charged with assault third degree, criminal mischief second degree and obstructing governmental operations. At the time of the Sanchez arrest, he tested positive for marijuana, meth and amphetamines. Sanchez remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $1,250 bond.

Michael Gene Johnson, 39 of Melbourne was arrested March 3 on a warrant accusing him of battery in the third degree. Additional charges are pending against Johnson all involving ownership of disputed property. Johnson was released from the Izard County Detention Facility and given a court date.

Jefferson Robert Morgan, 23 of Brockwell was arrested March 2 on charges of driving while intoxicated-drugs and driving left of center. At the time of his arrest, Morgan tested positive for illegal drugs that include marijuana and meth. Morgan was later released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting a bond in the amount of $1,185.

Michael Wade Bailey, 51 of Batesville was arrested March 1 on the charge of possession of a controlled substance. Bailey later posted bond in the amount of $1,105 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Steven Wayne Tate, 26 of Violet Hill was arrested March 5 on a violation of Arkansas Hot check law warrant. Tate appeared in Izard County District Court on that date, was fined for the offense and several other related offenses and was released.

Rebecca Denise Dockings, 37 of Melbourne was arrested March 4 on a violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. Dockings posted bond the same day and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Daniel Wayne Dwight, 18 was arrested March 5 on a failure to appear warrant. Dwight was released after appearing in District Court.

Brandon Carney, 28 of Hasty was arrested March 7 on drug related charges. Carney was later released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting bond in the amount of $1,105.

Eric LaFleur, 44 of Brockwell was arrested March 6 for driving while intoxicated (drugs) and defective tail light. LaFleur was later released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting a bond in the amount of $2465.

Sherry Brown, 43 of Bexar was arrested March 6 on driving while intoxicated and failure to maintain control. Brown was later released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting bond in the amount of $965.

Steven Scott McCurley, 36 of Wideman was arrested March 6 on violation of Arkansas hot check law warrant. McCurley posted bond the same day and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

A Calico Rock juvenile was arrested March 9 on charges of public intoxication. The juvenile was transported to White River Regional Juvenile Detention Facility.

Another Calico Rock juvenile was arrested March 8 on charges of contributing to the delinquency of two female minors. The juvenile was transported to the White River Regional Juvenile Detention Facility.
