FRYATT -- A Koshkonong man, Jason King, 33, was killed in a one-vehicle accident March 15 at 8:53 p.m. on Highway 9 south of Mammoth Spring near Fryatt,
According to Officer Kenneth Foley with Troop I of the Arkansas State Police, King was driving a 1997 Mercury south when the car exited the right side of the road, overcorrected crossing both lanes. The car then struck an embankment and overturned ejecting King. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
He was taken to St. John's Hospital in Springfield where he was pronounced dead.
There were three other passengers injured in the vehicle, Herbert K. Reiss. 42, of Tulsa, Okla. Cassie Langwell, 19, of Thayer, and Mollie A. King, 21, of Thayer.
Reiss was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Trooper Foley was not sure if Langwell and Mollie King were wearing a seatbelt. Their condition is not known at this time.
