Sarah Horner, daughter of the late Daniel L. Autrey and Elizabeth Parker Autrey, was born March 23, 1919, in Autreyville, Ga. She died March 12, 2009, at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem at the age of 89.
She was married to Tommy Horner in 1941 in Kissimmee, Fla. She was a homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include: her children, Thomas Horner and wife, Carol of Moorestown, N.J., Sally Mills and husband, Gene of Fairview, Tenn., Rich Horner and wife, Patty of Salem and Linda Horner and Bruce of Cape May, N.J.; her grandchildren, Terry and Tommy Horner, Bill and Mike Mills and Nathan Horner; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Connie Partin of Kissimmee Fla., and Jean Powers of Tigard, Ore.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; three sisters, Betty Autrey, Becky Latimer and Kappy Autrey; one brother, Dan Autrey and her parents.
Sarah Horner was cremated with arrangements by Cox-Blevins Funeral Home. Memorial services, if any, will be announced later.
