Jason L. King was born Sept. 2, 1976, in West Plains, Mo., the son of J.L. "Jay" King and Louise Jewell King. He died March 14, 2009, in Mammoth Spring, Ark., at the age of 32.
He was an avid outdoorsman and a carpenter. He worked alongside his dad on many area buildings and construction jobs. He attended Shiloh Grand Gulf Church.
He is survived by: his parents, Jay and Louise King of Koshkonong, Mo.; four children, Randall King, Ryan King, Shalyn King and Lucaus King; one sister, Tina King of Tulsa, Okla.; his maternal gandmother Helen Jewell of Koshkonong, Mo.; three nieces; one nephew; several aunts; uncles; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandfather, Richard Jewell; and paternal grandparents, Glen and Bessie King.
Funeral services were held March 18 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel at Thayer, Mo. Burial followed in the Shiloh Grand Gulf Cemetery near Thayer .
Arrangements were under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
