Gary Ray Manry, 54, of Salem, Ark., son of the late Troy and Odessia (Coggins) Manry, was born on March 15, 1955, in Sterling, Ill. He died March 29, 2009, at his home after a long illness with Juvenile Diabetes.
Gary spent his working years as a building contractor, installing stained-glass windows in churches across the country including the windows at St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bend, Ark.
He is survived by: his companion, Althea Knight Bell III; a son, Dylan F. Manry; two grandchildren, Trey and Odessa Manry; a brother, L. T. Manry; a sister, Mae Manry; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on April 4 at the Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem.
Arrangements were under the direction of Barker Funeral Home.
