Jerry Lee Huskey, 68, of Saffell, Ark., died April 11, 2009, at his home. He was born May 11, 1940, at Saffell, Ark., the son of Willie Edward and Julia Augusta (Bailey) Huskey.
He was a farmer and a member of the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church at Saffell.
Survivors include his wife, Ona Lou Huskey of the home; four sons, Randy Huskey of Batesville, Scotty Huskey of Saffell, Rusty Huskey of Lynn and Jeff Huskey of Calamine; one daughter, Crystal Crow of Cave City; his mother, Gus Huskey of Saffell; three brothers, Carrell Gene Huskey, Junior Huskey and Ricky Huskey all of Saffell; four sisters, Mary Jo Wann of Paragould, Deborah Penn of Illinois, Barbara Postel of Smithville and Kathey Wilson of Jonesboro; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by hi father and an infant sibling.
Funeral services were held April 14 at the Mt. Harmony Free Will Baptist Church located at Saffell with Bro. John Freeman and Bro. Stanley Vandergrift officiating. Burial followed in the Ward Cemetery located at Strawberry with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Ark.
Pallbearers were Randy Huskey, Scotty Huskey, Rusty Huskey, Jeff Huskey, Frankie Crow, Jason Huskey, Marcus Huskey and Casey Huskey.
Honorary pallbearers were Blakeley Crow, W.O. Huskey, Al Brown and Norman Red.
