The Thayer/Mammoth Rotary Club sponsored a fund-raising 3-on-3 round robin basketball tournament April 11 at the Thayer High School gym.
Four teams competed in the 12-and-under class, seven teams took to the court in the 13-16 age group and six teams laced 'em up in the adult group, which was ages 17-and-up.
All teams competing in the tournament were guaranteed at least three games and the teams with the most wins played in a championship game, with the winning team being awarded a trophy.
Teams from Mammoth Spring, Couch and Thayer competed in the tourney.
One girls' team entered and won second place in the 12-and-under group.
All proceeds from the $30 per team entry fee will be donated to the fund to purchase mosquito netting for third world countries.
The netting will be sent and used in Africa, in the ongoing battle against malaria.
