Lorene F. Harber, of Salem, Ark., daughter of the late Alva Langston and Nettie Blevins Langston, was born March 5, 1927, in Morriston, Ark. She died April 16, 2009, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, at the age of 82 years.
She was united in marriage to Harlus Leeor Harber May 2, 1947. She was a hairdresser and owned and operated her own salon for over 40 years. She was a member of the Salem Church of Christ.
She is survived by: her son, Harley Harber and wife, Gail of Glencoe; daughter, Lisa Hurtt and husband William of Salem; grandchildren, Rusty and Robbie Hurtt and Brant Moxley; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her husband; her brother, Norman Langston; step mother, Nancy Langston; and her father and mother.
Services were held April 18 at Salem Church of Christ with burial following in Salem Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem.
