Izard County Sheriff's Report

Drug charges were formalized April 6 against two men who were arrested April 3 and placed on an investigative hold. Rodney Holt Baker, 28, of Mount Pleasant was charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a class "C" felony and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use, also a class "C" felony. Baker was also charged with numerous misdemeanors including disorderly conduct, refusal to submit, driving while intoxicated (drugs), battery third degree, terroristic threatening and obstructing governmental operations. District Judge David Miller set bond for Baker at $13,750 which Baker posted and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

David M. Dickson, 29, was formally charged with possession of a controlled substance (morphine), a class "C" felony and possession of a prescribed narcotic, an unclassified felony. Dickson posted bond set by Judge Miller in the amount of $25,000 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

In another drug related matter, Sheriff Tate Lawrence said that Kenneth Smith Jr. of Melbourne was sentenced April 11 to eight years in the Arkansas Department of Correction. Smith's charges included possession of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, fleeing and resisting arrest. Smith remains in the Izard County Detention Facility awaiting prison bed space.

Bradford Sloan Webb, 23, of Calico Rock was arrested April 11 on charges to include public intoxication, terroristic threatening, obstructing operations (two counts), no proof of insurance, fleeing, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and driving on a suspended license. Webb posted bond April 14 in the amount of $6,195 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Charles Daniel Boothe, 25, of Melbourne was arrested April 12 on the charge of domestic battering third degree. Boothe posted bond April 17 in the amount of $1,105 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

William Eugene Wilkins, 55, of Calico Rock was arrested April 10 on charges of driving while intoxicated (second offense) and failure to stop at a stop sign. Wilkins was released from the Izard County Detention Facility the following day after posting bond in the amount of $2,985.

In another alcohol related arrest, Haley Nicole Harris, 25, of Evening Shade was charged April 9 with driving while intoxicated (second offense), driving left of center, and driving on a suspended driver's license. Harris was released the following day after posting a $4,040 bond.

William Glen Cleveland, 54, of Alpena was arrested April 15 on charges of driving while intoxicated, careless driving, driving with a suspended license, and no seat belt. Bond in the amount of $1,845 was posted the following day and Cleveland was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Public intoxication charges resulted in the arrest of Bradley Travis Edmonston, 18, of Calico Rock. Edmonston later posted bond in the amount of $205 and was released.

Joseph Anthony Gaston, 24, of Calico Rock was arrested April 16 for public intoxication, criminal impersonation, and a failure to appear warrant relating to a previous arrest for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. Gaston posted bond later that day in the amount of $2,825 and was released from jail.

Leif Scott Cantrell, 26, of Calico Rock was jailed April 16 on the charge of public intoxication. Cantrell posted a $205 bond and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Clinton James Tinin, 24, of Calico Rock was arrested April 16 on the charge of public intoxication. Tinin later posted bond in the amount of $205 and was released from jail

Another Calico Rock man was arrested April 16 on public intoxication charges. Eric Scott Steward, 20, was released after posting a $205 bond.

Bobbie Jeanette Pool, 37, of Dolph was arrested April 13 on a probation violation warrant. Pool posted bond in the amount of $10,000 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Russell Bryant McLeod, 41, of Batesville was arrested April 17 for driving with a suspended license, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and without license plates. McLeod posted bond the following day in the amount of $1,040 and was transferred to Cross County authorities.

Joshua Kenneth Hallmann, 31, of Grand Island, Fla., was arrested April 13 on a felony hot check warrant and a hold from Cleburne County. Hallmann was transferred to Cleburne County authorities.

One individual was arrested on a felony failure to appear warrant and three were arrested on misdemeanor failure to appear warrants. Christopher Lee Domino, 24, of Clayton, Ala., was arrested April 13 on felony failure to appear while James Allen West Jr., 18, of Calico Rock was arrested April 11 on misdemeanor failure to appear along with Melissa Marie Foster, 37, of Camp and Arthur B. Tunniclifff, 24, of Calico Rock.

Michael Lawrence Legett, 43, of Viola was arrested April 19 on a child support enforcement warrant. Legett remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of bond.
