Perry Len Trimble, 62, of Interlachen, Fla., died April 21, 2009, at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness. A native of West Plains, Mo., he moved to Interlachen 15 years ago coming from Missouri.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a technical writer for airline companies and a former employee of the Palatka Daily News and the Florida Times Union.
He is survived by: his wife of 30 years, Linda Carol Trimble; his children, Justin Wilson, Jeanette Trimble, Patricia Trimble, Margaret Trimble and Christopher Trimble; a sister, Helen Trimble; a granddaughter, Haylee Graham and a nephew, Charles Dickey.
A memorial service was held April 28 at the Johnson Overturf Funeral Home in Interlachen with military honors performed by the U.S. Navy.
