Betty Lea (Traw) Whited, 66, of Evening Shade, Ark., died April 25, 2009, at her home. She was born Nov. 8, 1942, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Maggie Iola (Athey) Traw.
She was married to Junior Glenn Whited on May 9 1959.
She was a CNA, a homemaker and an active member of the Ash Flat Church of Christ.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Crystal Whited of Cherokee Village, Michael and Vickie Whited of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., and Glenn Whited of Reno, Nev.; one daughter, and son-in-law, Carolyn and Charlie Conway of Evening Shade; one brother, Charles Traw of Batesville; one sister, Ann Houpt of Corning, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; two sisters; two brothers; and a daughter-in-law.
Funeral services were held April 28 at the Ash Flat Church of Christ with Keith Gregson officiating.
Burial followed in the Evening Shade Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of the Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City, Ark.
Pallbearers were Curtis Hollinger, Dennis Clough, David Neitch Sr., David Henry, Mitchell Eversoll and Rodney Busch.
Honorary pallbearers were Jeff Stephens and Chaney Emerich.
