Dustin Michael Baird, 21, of Melbourne was arrested April 23 on numerous charges to include driving while intoxicated (drugs) and is being held in the Izard County Detention Facility awaiting a probation revocation hearing and transport to the Arkansas Department of Correction, according to Sheriff Tate Lawrence

A domestic battering arrest was made April 23 following an altercation between a brother and sister at a Melbourne convenience store. Arrested was Benjamin Eugene Giefer, 33, of County Road 71, S who posted bond April 25 in the amount of $1,000 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Michael Linn Cox, 19, of Calico Rock was arrested April 21 on charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of an instrument of crime, careless driving, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. Cox was released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting bond in the amount of $2,295.

In another alcohol related arrest, Deborah Kaye Brandon, 41, of Mount Pleasant was arrested April 24 on charges of driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Brandon posted bond in the amount of $1,050 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

In another alcohol related arrest, Adam Blake Rush, 28, of Calico Rock was jailed April 24 on charges of driving while intoxicated, fleeing and careless driving. Rush posted bond the following day in the amount of $2,315 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility.

Antonio Sanchez IV, 20, of Pineville was arrested April 22 on a criminal contempt of court warrant and remains in the Izard County Detention Facility.

Also arrested on a criminal contempt of court charge was Shawnee Marie McAfee, 33, of South McAfee remains in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $2,500 bond.

Andrew James Sherrell, 35, of Salem was arrested April 21 on the charge of violation of an order of protection. Sherrell was released from the Izard County Detention Facility after posting bond in the amount of $1,000.

Sheriff Lawrence said that two individuals were arrested April 24 on felony warrants of breaking and entering and theft of property. Jessie Tyrell, 24, of Salem posted bond in the amount of $5,000 and was released from the Izard County Detention Facility. Paul David Beaver, 25, of Horseshoe Bend remains in the Izard County Detention Facility on a hold by the Arkansas Department of Correction .

Nelson Dominic, 35, of Mountain View, who was earlier arrested on alcohol related charges was found to be in violation of his probation/parole and was transported April 23 to the Arkansas Department of Correction.

Charles Vaden Reed, 28, of Melbourne who was earlier arrested on alcohol related charges was found to be in violation of his probation/parole and was transported April 23 to the Arkansas Department of Correction.
