Norma Wiles, 95, of Hardy, Ark., died April 23, 2009, at the Stone County Nursing Home in Mountain View, Ark. She was born May 9, 1913, at Ash Flat, Ark., the daughter of the late William Otto and Fannie Paralee Biggers.
She was homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hardy.
Survivors include: five sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard Wiles of Williford, Ark., Eugene "Tuffy" Wiles of Agnos, Raymond and Sue Wiles of Mountain View, Roy and Judy Wiles of Hardy and Travis and Karen Wiles of Agnos; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janelta and Teddy Tipton of Hardy and Naomi and Gary Martin of Ozark, Mo.; 21 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren several nieces; nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Truman Wiles; one daughter, Betty Conner; two brothers, Erskin Biggers and Garland Biggers; four sisters, Jeffie Rumsey, Nelle Carpenter, Myrtle Nix and Clara Biggers; one daughter-in-law, Wanda Wiles; and two grandsons, Lynn Conner and David Tipton.
Funeral services were held April 25 at the First Baptist Church in Hardy with Bro. Larry Kendrick officiating. Burial followed in the Wiles Cemetery at Ash Flat with arrangements by Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
Pallbearers were Marty Goodwin, Anthony Wiles, Dennis Wiles, J.D. Conner, Darrell Carpenter and Lee Wiles.
