James E. Schultz Sr., 88, of Cherokee Village, Ark., died April 22 at his home. He was born June 8, 1920, at Moline, Ill., the son of Fred P. and Kathryn E. (Snyder) Schultz.
He was U.S. Coast Guard veteran having served during World War II and was a retired machinist for Northrop Grumman in California.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife Marie C. Schultz; and one brother, Fred Schultz.
Survivors include: one son, James E. Schultz Jr. of St. Petersburg, Fla., two daughters, Kathryn Nelson of Bridgeport, Texas, and Darla Schultz of Hawthorne, Calif.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held April 29 at the Tri-County Funeral Home Chapel in Highland. Arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home of Highland.
