Reilly pleads not guilty to sex charges

Thursday, May 7, 2009

April 29, in Sharp County Circuit Court, former Sharp County Office OEM Coordinator Pete Reilly Jr.'s attorney Stewart Lambert entered a not guilty plea on Reilly's behalf in leu of arraignment on the charges of rape and sexual indecency with a child.

The charges stemmed from incidents at Reilly's home with four minor children ages 10-11, two 14 year-olds, and a 9-year-old at the time of the alleged abuse.

Reilly was arrested March 30 and is currently out on a $25,000 bond.

His next court date was set for June 24.

Reilly is currently suspended from his position as Fire Service Coordinator with no salary. The county is still paying his health insurance until the matter is resolved.
