Kim F. Loomis, 53, of Alton, was in a one-vehicle accident May 3 and sustained moderate injuries. Loomis, driving a 1995 Ford Ranger, was traveling south on Highway 19 when his vehicle went off the roadway, down an embankment and struck a ditch about four miles north of Thayer. Loomis was transported to Ozarks Medical Center. The investigating trooper was D.B. Pounds.
James A. Carter, 52, of Thayer, driving a 1996 Ford Windstar, was traveling south May 6 with passenger Allison L. Carter, 18, on Highway 63 when the vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a ditch. Both occupants were transported to Ozarks Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The investigating trooper was D.A. Huffman.
Alexander R. Good, 22, of Thayer, with occupant Ceire C. Leech, was southbound on Highway 63 when a fatal accident occurred May 10. Good, driving a 2004 Ford Mustang, crossed over the northbound lane and traveled off the left side of the roadway striking a rock bluff. The vehicle overturn several times, ejecting Good. Both Good and Leech were transported to Ozarks Medical Center. Good was later pronounced dead. The investigating trooper was L. Sanders assisted by Sgt. R. Rees.
