The 17th annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Show-Me 100 will be held at West Plains Motor Speedway beginning May 21 and wrapping up May 23.
A large field of Super Late Model drivers from across the country will be on hand to battle for over $132,000 in prize money, including a $40,000 top prize.
Drivers expected to compete include: Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, Tenn., Eric Jacobsen of Watsonville, Calif., Bill Frye of Greenbrier, Ark., Billy Moyer and Wendell Wallace, both of Batesville, Jeep VanWormer of Pinconning, Mich., Dale McDowell of Welcome, NC, and Freddy Smith of Seymour, Tenn., along with many, many more.
New for 2009 is the addition of sanctioning of the event by the Lucas Oil Late Model Series, which will make the event more exciting than ever, as well as bringing several new drivers to the event.
West Plains Motor Speedway is one of the nation's premier facilities, top to bottom, and fans and drivers alike are treated like family at each and every event.
May 21 will feature an open practice and barbeque.
Time trials and heat races will be held on May 22.
Consolation events and the 100-lap feature will be held on May 23.
On Friday and Saturday nights, a complete open wheel Modified program will accompany the show. Purses will be $1,000 and $1,250 to win, respectively.
