Two more players have been added to the Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Basketball roster for the 2009-10 season.
They are Gage Wooten, a 6-4 wing/forward from Centennial, Colo., and Ternell Davis, a 6-1 combo guard from Ashburn, Ga.
"Gage and Ternell certainly solidify our guard and wing positions," said Grizzly Head Coach Yancey Walker. "They are both tough players who are at their best when the lights are on. I am really looking forward to coaching these two young men, in addition to the others we have signed."
Wooten averaged 14 points, eight rebounds and two assists during his senior season at Eagle Crest High School in Centennial, a suburb of Denver. He was a three-time first-team All-Centennial Conference honoree, a two-time Centennial Conference Player of the Year honoree, and a two-time all-city honoree during his high school career, and he was a second-team all-state selection his senior year.
Davis averaged 21 points, four steals and five rebounds during his senior season at Turner County High School in Ashburn and was a 70 percent free throw shooter. He earned all-state and all-region honors all four years of his high school career and was named the region player of the year his sophomore and senior seasons.
