The Horseshoe Bend Kiwanis Club's annual golf tournament is set for June 20 at The Course on Turkey Mountain in Horseshoe Bend.
The format will be a three-person scramble with men's and women's teams participating.
Proceeds from the Kiwanis Club's 18-hole tournament go toward scholarships and other projects involving young children within the area.
Tee-time is scheduled for 8 a.m., with a shotgun start.
Entries may be sent to: Turkey Mountain Golf Course, #3 Club Rd., Horseshoe Bend, AR. 72512. Reservations can also be phoned in to the club house at 870-670-5252.
Entry fee is $40 per person, which includes green fee, coffee and doughnuts. Cost is $11 per person extra if a cart is needed.
Make checks payable to Horseshoe Bend Kiwanis Club. Each flight in the event pays $270 for first place; $210 for second place; and $180 for third place, with many extra prizes also included.
There will be a $10,000 hole-in-one prize, sponsored by Fred Lamb State Farm Insurance of Melbourne, on the par-3 #5 green.
There will be two sets of golf clubs given away on the other two par-3s for a hole-in one, courtesy of Lamb and Chuck McKnight, Turkey Mountain PGA Pro.
Reservations should be made at the Club House before June 19.
