Izard County High School's Rachel Harmon finished fifth at the Arkansas Women's Golf Association's (AWGA) Junior Girls' Stroke Play Championship at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock on July 7-8.
The event was held in conjunction with the Arkansas State Golf Association.
Harmon's two-day score of 163 was good for fifth place.
She shot an opening round of 79 and stood in seventh place after the first day.
After day 1, the AWGA then flights the field into two divisions, Championship and First Flight, and also moves the tee boxes back to approximately 6,000+ yards for the second day of competition.
In seventh place after day one, Harmon was placed in the Championship Flight for day two and shot an 84 for her two day total of 163.
