Five sentenced to prison

Third Judicial Judge Harold Erwin sentenced five people to prison July 6 during Sharp County Circuit Court.

Don E. England, 25, was sentenced to 72 months in the Department of Correction for second degree sexual assault. He was also fined $1,500 and ordered to pay $670 in fees.

Jeremy Joseph Elliot, 27, was sentenced to 48 months in a regional correction facility for theft of property, breaking and entering and second degree endangering the welfare of a minor. He was ordered to pay a $250 fine and $420 in fees.

Dina B. Davis, 39, was sentenced to 24 months in a regional correctional facility on a probation revocation charge of a felony violation of the Arkansas Hot Check Law. She was also fined $250 and $670 in fees and $3,289.04 in restitution.

Shawn Michael Lewis, 28, was sentenced to 120 months in the Department of Correction to run concurrently with his current sentence for second degree escape. He was also fined $250 and ordered to pay $170 in fees.

Earl Glen Carroll Jr., 42, was sentenced to 96 months in the Department of Correction for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also ordered to pay a $250 fine and $670 in fees.
