Ralph and Bethany Underwood of West Plains are the parents of a baby boy, Ralph Maddux. He was born at 8 p.m., July 17, 2009, at Ozarks Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Grandparents are Dale and Deborah Combs, Couch, and Jed and Sandy Underwood, Thayer.
