B.Y.O.L.C. Bring your own lawn chairs to Koshkonong's city park for the annual Koshkonong Heritage Day event Saturday, Sept. 12.
Events will start at 10 a.m. with the Veterans' Salute followed by a welcoming by Mayor Bud Adams at 10:30 a.m. At 10:45 a.m., there will be a speech by Rep. Mike Dethrow followed by a Pet Parade.
The band, Pavement Ends, will perform at 11 a.m. Dean Vonallmen, Carl Trantham and Ed McKenny of The Sunnyside Up Band will sing at noon. Koshkonong school children will then treat visitors to a singing at 1 p.m.
The Civil War Artillery Firing will be at 2 p.m., followed by a performance by Rhonda Spreutel at 2:30 p.m.
The Pony Pull will start at 3 p.m.
Activities will include craft booths, school sponsored booths, a petting zoo, chicken chase, tug-of-war, Children's Peddle Tractor Pull and the Northeast Arkansas Living Historians.
No food or beverage booths will be permitted at the park, but people are welcome to purchase meals provided in the park.
