Mountain Home's Ron Booy topped a field of 19 bowlers to win a scratch sweeper Aug. 30 at Indian Hills Bowl in Ash Flat.
Booy defeated Jared Studnar, also from Mountain Home, 237-176 to win the top prize of $600.
With a prize fund of $1,377 on tap, after five games, the field was cut to the top five bowlers.
Local bowlers Danny Ruff from Ozark Acres and Buddy Smith from Cherokee Village just missed the cut-line by seven pins and tied at +35 to split the high non-cash senior check for $50.
Rick Isley from Batesville finished fifth with +41.
Nick Branum fom Kennett, Mo., finished fourth with +93.
Charlie McCoy from Springhill, La., finished third with +104. Booy finished second with +119 and Studnar was top seed with +150.
