Izard County standout Rachel Harmon came in second at the United States Junior Golf Tour Tournament held at Coopers Hawk Golf Club in Melbourne Sept. 6.
Harmon shot an opening round score of 77 in the two-day event and trailed eventual champion Mary Tunnell (75) of Memphis by two strokes.
Tunnell shot a second-round total of 78, while Harmon completed her second round with an 81 for a two-day score of 158, compared to Tunnell's 153.
Melbourne's Sam Cooper finished fourth in the boys' high school division with a two-day score of 146, while teammate Bradley Lamb finished in a tie for seventh with a score of 153.
Izard County's Preston Harmon finished 11th with a score of 159.
