Two additional persons have been arrested in connection with shoplifting at Knowles True Value Store in Calico Rock. Daniel Dwight, 20, of Calico Rock and Zack Thomas Autry, 18, of Melbourne are charged with theft of property, a class "a" misdemeanor and remain in the Izard County Detention Facility in lieu of $2,500 bond.
They are accused of taking cans of computer cleaner from the store. A male juvenile was previously charged in connection with this theft and is considered a suspect in the destruction of mail boxes in the Calico Rock area. The juvenile was released to his family and given a court date. There were admissions that the three sniffed the propellant of the cleaner in order to get high. Sheriff Lawrence again warns that sniffing the propellant from aerosol cans is often deadly.
