Spring River Adult and Child Services (SACS) created a display at Ozarka College Oct. 29 for Domestic Violence Awareness month. The display highlighted the tragedy of domestic abuse through information about victims, who lost their lives to domestic violence in 2008. Included was a T-shirt provided by the Quapaw Ladies Club for Sharp County victim Theresa Kosick who was killed by her live in boyfriend. The display was placed in the main hall of the Ash Flat campus with information about SACS as well as information for anyone who might need help getting out of a violent relationship.
