Hammering the Augusta Lady Red Devils from the get-go, the Izard County Lady Cougars rolled to a huge 60-14 non-conference win Nov. 23 at the Cougars' Den in Brockwell.
The Lady Cougars led 21-0 after the first period and by keeping Augusta scoreless, took a 28-zip lead to intermission.
Up 54-10 after three, Izard County cruised home to a 46-point victory.
Amber Hall led the Lady Cougars with 14 points, while Rachel Harmon had 13 and Kaydie Campbell 12. Michelle Johnson and Harmony Herron finished with eight points each. Kristen Doty had three and Emily Crider two for Izard County.
The junior Lady Cougars fell 49-23 to start the evening.
Heather Lawrence paced Izard County with seven points. Sami Wagner and Jordan Sherrell had four points each.
Led by an explosive night from Harmon, the Lady Cougars slid past Hillcrest 67-56 Nov. 24 in Lynn.
Harmon drilled seven treys on her way to a game-high 29 points for Izard County in the victory.
