The Sharp County Conservation District announces that the annual tree sale has now begun. The district will accept orders from now until Jan. 19, 2010, and the trees will be in around the first week of March.
This year the conservation district is offering the following: bundle of the following: (1 forsythia, 1 java red weigela, 1 Chinese chestnut and 1 bush honeysuckle) $7, Crape Myrtle (red, white, purple or pink) $2.50 each, white dogwood $2.50, Bradford pear $7.50 and 25 pine seedlings $1.50. All trees come bare rooted and range in size from 18 inches to 4 feet.
